Electronics, clothes hot in thefts

Electronics and clothes were missing this morning following four burglaries reported Monday in Vicksburg.

At 7:10 a.m., two car stereos were reported stolen from vehicles at Vicksburg Imports, 2011 Washington Street, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

At noon, sound equipment, a keyboard, and a computer monitor with a combined value of $1,200 was reported stolen from Jubilee Revival Center, 1201 Grove Street, Williams said.

At 5:30 p.m., a fan and DVD player were reported stolen from a home in the 800 block of Mission 66, she said.

At 9:15 p.m., a pair of Nike Jordan shoes valued at $145, six Polo shirts valued at $45 each, two Fossil watches valued at $125 each and a jug of change were reported stolen from a home in the 200 block of First Avenue, she said.

 

Man held for probation violation

A Warren County man accused of violating probation was held without bail this morning.

Jerry Kirkley, 28, 100 Massey Road, was held this morning on a warrant for probation violation, according to Warren County Jail records.
