Redwood man held in meth case

A Warren County man accused of methamphetamine possession was held without bail this morning.

Rowdy Bridges, 30, 1000 Redwood Road, was arrested at 3 p.m. Monday on Clay Street near Interstate 20 and charged with possession of methamphetamine, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

Bridges was discovered to be in possession of meth after being stopped by patrolman Ben Patrick for making in illegal U-turn, Williams said.

Bridges was held without bail this morning in the Warren County Jail awaiting his initial court appearance.

TV, air conditioner missing

An air conditioner and a television were missing this morning following to burglaries in Vicksburg.

At 11:15 a.m. Thursday, a 42-inch LG television was reported stolen from a home in the 4400 block of Halls Ferry Road, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

At  10:50 a.m. Monday, an air conditioner valued at $170, a small amount of change and five cans of soda were reported missing from a home in the 1000 block of Speed Street, she said.
