Shooter on the lam

A shooter was on the lam this morning after firing at least one shot into an occupied home on Holly Ridge Drive early this morning.

At about 12:30 a.m. today, a homeowner in the 600 block of Holly Ridge Drive found a bullet hole in the bathroom window of the house after hearing a loud noise, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

No one in the home was wounded, she said.

A suspect in the shooting had not been named this morning, Williams said.

 

 

Two held for probation, drug court

Two Warren County residents accused of violating the terms of their court sentences were held without bail this morning.

James Michael Brooks, 31, 100 Massey Road, was held in the Warren County Jail this morning for a probation violation, and Jean Harrell, 52, 5055 Gastrell Lane, was held for a drug court sanction.
