Funeral services for Walker Owen Brown will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, 2015, at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Joe Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 from 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Brown of Vicksburg died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015, at G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Veteran’s Administration Medical Center.  He was 71.

He was a retired master mechanic for Lockheed Grumman Aircraft Corp., and was a U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Lerder and Myrtle Durant Brown.

Survivors include his wife, Essie Horton Brown of Vicksburg; sister, Sallie Brown of Port Arthur Texas; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends and relatives.
