Neal Taylor Nations

Neal Taylor Nations died Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home.

He was born Feb. 13, 1944, in Attala County, the son of the late Robert Luther Nations and Lettie Elizabeth Nations.

He was a graduate of Vaiden High School and Delta State University. Neal retired from All Saints Episcopal School in Vicksburg with 28 years of service in student services. He loved traveling the United States with his brothers collecting good junk (antiques) and participating in flea markets and The Pigfest. He was a communicant of Christ Episcopal Church.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Robert Edmond Nations.

Survivors include three brothers, William Avery Nations of Holcomb, James Cecil Nations of Forest and Kermit Nations of Amory; and other relatives, including two nephews and five nieces.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Christ Episcopal Church with the Rev. Sam Godfrey, rector, officiating.

Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Christ Episcopal Church, 1115 Main Street, Vicksburg, MS 39183 and to The Store House Community Food Pantry, 907 South Street, Vicksburg, MS 39180.
