Services for Ronald Eugene Evans will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Jackson Street Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Wesley officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home.

Visitation will be Friday from noon to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, and Saturday at the church from noon until the hour of service.

Mr. Evans died Saturday, April 11, 2015, at University of Mississippi Medical Center of Jackson. He was 48.

He was a native of Pasco, Wash., but lived in Vicksburg where he worked in lawn service and was a member of Jackson Street Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ivory Evans; and a brother, Victor Evans.

Survivors include two sons, Le Kendrick Williams and Dewayne Jackson, both of Vicksburg; two daughters,  Ronneisha Williams of Vicksburg and Chardaja Miller of Pensacola, Fla.; his mother, Joyce Evans of Vicksburg; a sister, Mary Joyce Evans of Vicksburg; four brothers, Rictor Evans, Donald Evans, Jerry Evans and John Evans, all of Vicksburg; and other relatives and friends.
