Services for Jasper Hamlin Jr. will be 2 p.m. Sunday, April 26, 2015, at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. Jonathan Hamlin officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Hamlin died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Mercy Walworth Medical Center in Beloit, Wis. He was 44. He was a cook for the Thirsty Badger Bar & Grill in Beloit, and was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jasper Hamlin Sr.; brother, Randy Hamlin; sister, Denise Littleton; maternal grandparents, L. C. and Winnie Littleton; paternal grandmother, Elnora Hamlin; and paternal step-grandmother, Viola Canda.

Survivors include his wife, Moneki Dotson Hamlin of Beloit; son, Joshua Dotson of Beloit; daughter, Abigail J. Hamlin of Beloit; stepdaughter, Naomi L. Dotson of Beloit; stepfather, Charles Canda Sr. of Vicksburg; mother, Leanie M. Littleton Canda of Vicksburg; brother, Timothy Hamlin of Vicksburg; and stepbrother, Charles Canda Jr. of Vicksburg; sister, Stacy Hicks of Vicksburg; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
