UTICA — Helen Ruth Herren died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 81.

Born in Kilmichael, she lived in Utica most of her life. Mrs. Herren was a member of Utica Christian Church. Her Passion was taking care of “all” her children and her husband.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Terrell Herren; parents, Samuel and Ella Willis; and a brother.

Mrs. Herren is survived by a son, James Terrell Herren (Carol); daughters, Robin Marie Herren Glass (Mark) and Dorothy Lanell Coley (Prentis); two brothers, Edward Willis of Vicksburg and Hubert Willis of Utica; and a sister, Dorothy Roy of Roxie; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015, at Utica Christian Church with the Rev. Rocky Henriques, Ritchie Stonecypher and Dennis Franklin Officiating.

Visitation is today from 5 to 8 p.m. Glenwood Funeral Home in Utica.

Pallbearers will be Kevin Brumfield, Dennis Franklin, Ritchie Stonecypher, Todd Wilson, Robbie Willis, and Dub Lloyd. Honorary Pallbearers will be Shelly Malone, Brody Coley, Matthew Ivey, Lonnie Coley, Dorlan Coley, and Brandon Tullos.
