Mary Lee Palmer of Edwards died June 12, 2015, at her home. She was 62.

Mrs. Palmer was born Oct. 3, 1953, to the late Millie T. Palmer and Square Palmer of Edwards. She attended Edwards Junior High School and graduated in 1973 from Hinds Agricultural High School in Utica.

She received an associate of arts degree in biology from Utica Junior College in 1976, and was employed as a manager of the Pet Department at Famous Barr in St. Louis. She also worked in the private home of Murphy Davis in Edwards.

Besides her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, Ivory Blue.

Survivors include six brothers, Square Palmer Jr. of Bolton, Horice Palmer and Abbie K. Johnson of Edwards, John E. Palmer of Vicksburg, Joe N. Palmer and P. J. Palmer of Elkhart, Ind.; and two sisters, Betty A Ramsey of Chicago and Millie Palmer White of Longview, Texas; and nephews, nieces and other family and friends.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2015, at St. Mark MB Church in Edwards.

Visitation will be Friday from 1 to 7 p.m. at Willis and Sons Funeral Home, 5235 Robinson Road Ext., Jackson.
