Linda Sue Williams-Sims died Thursday, June 18, 2015 at Merit Health River Region Medical Center. She was 59. She had taught at the Good Shepherd Community Center and was a member of the Spring Hill M. B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Susie Hughes Williams; her brothers Thomas Williams Jr, Dwight Williams, and Michael Williams; and her sister Connie Williams.

She is survived by her son Alfred Sims, of Huntington Beach, CA; her four daughters Deedra Sims and Tabitha Sims both of Vicksburg, Dr. Jennifer Sims of Medford, Mass., and Brittany Doston of Oxford; one brother Joe Samuel Williams of Vicksburg; three sisters Doris Jones of Austin, Texas, Gwendolyn Strong of Vicksburg, and Pam Davis of Dallas, Texas; four grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and others including Willie V Crump of Edwards, Ronnie and Janet Clark of Vicksburg and members of the Erves and Hughes families of Vicksburg

Funeral services for Linda Sue Williams-Sims are to be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, June 23, 2015 in the Spring Hill M. B. Church with the Rev. Dr. James Warren officiating.

Interment shall follow in the Cedar Hill Cemetery with W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home in charge. There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Chapel on Monday, June 22, 2015.
