James Wesley Womble of Vicksburg died Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at his home. He was 76.

He was the son of the late James and Gladys Womble and was a retired electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Womble; a daughter, Missy Womble Snow; brothers, Kenny Womble, Billy Womble, Buddy Womble; and a sister, Laura Womble.

Survivors include two sons, Garey Womble and Ricky Womble, and a daughter, Pam Womble Brumfield, all of Vicksburg; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one brother; and four sisters.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2015, at Frank J. Fisher Funeral Home with the Rev. E.L. Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 to 5 p.m. at the funeral home, and Monday from 9 a.m. until the hour of service.

Pallbearers will be Shannon Snow, Chris Snow, John Womble, Chase Womble, Brian Womble, Bubba Fulgham. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Stallings, Linda Drake and the nurses and staff of Gentiva Home Health.
