FAYETTE — Robert E. Reed, 64, who died Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Natchez Regional Medical Center in Natchez, MS,

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Reed of Fayette; a son, Robert E. Reed of Port Gibson; a daughter, Yolanda Reed of Port Gibson; his mother, Hazel Reed of Fayette; three brothers, Calvin Reed, Glen Reed and Ben Reed III, all of Fayette; three sisters, Catherine Reed, Rachel Reed and Shirley Williams, all of Fayette; one uncle, Roger Reed of Baton Rouge; six step-sons, Marv Cruel, Marvin Cruel, Richard Cruel and Terrance Cruel, all of Fayette, Ronnie Cruel and Stanford Cruel, both of Port Gibson; three step-daughters, Thelma C. Barnes, and Velma C. Olive, both of Fayette and Patricia C. McNamee of Burtonsville, Md.; four grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, 15 step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015 at St. Mariah M.B. Church in Fayette with Rev. Stanford Cruel officiating, Rev. Eli Colenberg will do the Eulogy.

Burial will be in Hollywood Cemetery in Fayette with Thompson Funeral Home, Inc. of Port Gibson in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be from 1 to 6p.m. Friday, July 10, 2015 at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday, July 11, 2015 from 10 a.m. until service time at the church.
