A Vicksburg man accused of weapons and drug possession was held without bail Thursday.

Malcolm Brown, 23, 216 Hillside Drive, was arrested at 9 p.m. Wednesday during a traffic stop at Second North and South streets and charged with possession of a stolen firearm and felony possession of marijuana, Vicksburg police Capt. Sandra Williams said.

The weapon recovered in Brown’s vehicle had been reported stolen in Warren County, but the VPD report did not list a date of the theft, Williams said.

Brown was held without bail in the Issaquena County Correctional Facility.
