PORT GIBSON — Jo’Pravious T. Hyder, died Friday, Aug. 28, 2015, at University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson. She was 27.

Mr. Hyder was preceded in death by his brother, Eric Hyder; paternal grandparents, Henry Bailey and Mary Jackson; and maternal grandparents, Johnnie R. Hyder, James Howard and Tommy McCalplin.

Survivors include his mother, Dorothy Hyder of Port Gibson; father, Joe Bailey of Port Gibson; three sisters, Aliyah Bailey of Ruston, La., Azaria Anderson and Ayairia Anderson, both of Ft. Worth, Texas; one brother, Dantavious Hyder of Port Gibson; 11 aunts; five uncles; and great-aunts, great- uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 1p.m., Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, at Mercy Seat Church in Port Gibson with the Rev. Ray Coleman officiating, assisted by the Rev. Frank McGriggs.

Burial will be at Pine Grove Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home Inc. of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be Friday, from 1 to 6 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home Chapel and Saturday at the church from noon until the service.
