A look at how players from Vicksburg-area high schools did in college football and NFL games played over the weekend

• Southern Miss offensive lineman Norman Price (Vicksburg High) started at right tackle and helped the Golden Eagles roll up a school record 682 total yards in a 65-10 win over Rice.

• Kentucky safety A.J. Stamps (Vicksburg High) had five solo tackles and one pass breakup in a 21-17 loss to Vanderbilt.

• Mississippi State kicker Devon Bell (Warren Central) had two touchbacks on three kickoffs in a 31-6 loss to No. 3 Alabama.

• New England Patriots cornerback Malcolm Butler (Vicksburg High) had two solo tackles and three pass defenses in a 27-26 win over the New York Giants. The Patriots remained undefeated with the victory.
