Funeral services for Robert Patterson will be noon Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016, at W. H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mr. Patterson of Vicksburg died Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016, at Shady Lawn Nursing Home. He was 83.  He was retired from Anderson Tully Lumber mill and was a self-employed plumbing contractor. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and a member of Tyner Ford Post #213 American Legion.

He was preceded in death by his mother, May Bertha Williams; and a sister, Vera Lee Perry.

Survivors include his wife Marilyn Marshall Patterson of Vicksburg; brother, Gus Jefferson of Chicago; sister, Willie B. Allen of Jackson; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
