Electronics, jewelry stolen in burglaries

Electronics and jewelry were among the items reported stolen in home and auto burglaries occurring Wednesday, Capt. Sandra Williams said.

• A stereo system valued at $400, an amplifier valued at $200, and assorted gold jewelry valued at $300 were reported taken about 8 a.m. from a 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup parked in the 1900 block of Baldwin Ferry Road.

• A 40-inch TV was reported stolen about 11:40 a.m. from a home in the 30 block of Bayou Boulevard.

• Clothing, shoes and jewelry were reported stolen about noon from a Dodge Journey parked in the 100 block of Eva Street. The SUV was entered by breaking a window.
