Haden sisters hit homers in St. Al’s romp

Keiko Booth’s RBI double in the fifth inning broke a 4-4 tie and opened the floodgates for St. Aloysius (9-7, 8-3 Division 8-1A), as the Lady Flashes scored 12 runs in the final two innings to bury Piney Woods, 16-4.

Sisters Kelly and Heidi Haden each homered and drove in three runs and Amy Walker had a pair of RBI singles for St. Al, which racked up 20 hits while holding Piney Woods to just two.

Kelly Haden went 4-for-4 with a two-run homer and Heidi Haden went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer that was part of St. Al’s eight-run sixth inning.

Laura Beth Lyons and Stephanie Evans each had two hits, while Nicole Ellis, Candice Park and Lisa Evans all had RBI singles for the Lady Flashes.
