LOUISE CALLICOTT OTWELL

WALDO, Ark. Louise Callicott Otwell died Friday, Oct. 6, 2000, at Vicksburg Convalescent Home. She was 91.

Born in Waldo, Ark., Mrs. Otwell was a homemaker. She worked for many years at the Waldo school and Shanhouse clothing factory in Magnolia, Ark. She moved to Vicksburg in 1995. She was a member of Shiloh Lamertine Baptist Church and Women’s Missionary Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bascome E. Otwell and a son, Corbin E. Otwell.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Otwell Horn and Dr. L.G. Horn of Vicksburg; a son, Glenn W. Otwell of Houston; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives including Margarette Otwell of Houston, Virginia Callicott of Waldo and Matha Bell Otwell of Hope, Ark.

Services were Sunday at Shiloh Lamertine Baptist Church in Waldo with the Revs. Harry Atteburg and Mike Phillips officiating. Burial was at Shiloh Cemetery in Waldo.
