JUDITH LOVE MOSS FARRIS

Judith Love Moss Farris died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2000, in Winslow, Ark. She was 44.

Mrs. Farris was born and reared in Vicksburg and had lived in Winslow for the past 20 years. She attended Warren County public schools.

She is survived by a daughter, Jody Amato of Salem, Conn.; two sons, Christopher Whatley and Aaron Farris, both of Winslow; her parents, Barger and Eleanor Moss, both of Vicksburg; three brothers, Jerry Moss of Dalton, Ga., David Moss of Canton, Ga., and Danny Moss of Bald Knob, Ark.; a sister, Jennifer Peterson of Flowood; her grandmother, Maye W. Moss of Vicksburg; and other relatives.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Rick Tillotson officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until the service Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Friends of Hospice, Washington Regional Medical Center, 1125 N. College Ave., Fayetteville, Ark. 72703, the American Cancer Society or the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation.

MARY LIZZIE HAYNES

Services for Mary Lizzie Haynes will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home with the Rev. F.W. Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 7 Tuesday night at the funeral home.

Mrs. Haynes died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2000, at Cypress Manor Nursing Home in Lake Providence. She was 88.

Mrs. Haynes was a former Vicksburg resident. She was a member and mother at Mount Ararat M.B. Church in the Eagle Lake community.

She was preceded in death by two sons, John Gus Davis and James Hardy.

She is survived by a daughter, Rosezena Jones of Vicksburg; one sister, Lena Mae Flowers of Utica; two brothers, George Haynes and Riley Haynes, both of Hazlehurst; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; and other relatives, including Angeline Jones, Delores Jones, Jeffrey Jones and members of the Hardy family, all of Vicksburg, and Mary Ann Jones of Hazlehurst.

N.V. LEE

Services for N.V. “Smith” Lee will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Lee died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at his home. He was 87.

He retired as a lumber inspector from Anderson-Tully Company. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Currie Lee; his parents, Tom Lee and A. Anna Bradley Lee Smith; three brothers, T.C. Lee, J.W. Lee and Eugene Lee; and two sisters, Jessie Davis and Laura Ross.

He is survived by a son, Milton Lee of Tacoma, Wash.; a daughter, Murline Lee of Vicksburg; a brother, Robert Smith of Flint, Mich.; a sister, Mary Williams of Jackson; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and other relatives, including Betty Bradley of Utica and members of the Sylvia Williams family.
