UTICA Services for Zelma Lee Rhone-Neal will be at noon Saturday at Second Union M.B. Church in Utica with Dr. Michael Reed officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery under the direction of Robbins Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Wake service will be at 6.

A longtime resident of Vicksburg, Mrs. Neal died Friday, Nov. 3, 2000, in Minneapolis, Minn. She was 67.

She was preceded in death by a son, Mid Mack Neal Jr., and a brother, Earl Wilson Sr.

She is survived by her husband, Mid Mack Neal of Mount Vernon, Ill.; two daughters, Katina D. Neal and Virgie M. Smith, both of Minneapolis, Minn.; six sons, Rufus V. Neal, Lin Andrew Neal and Gregory Neal, all of Minneapolis, Alvin B. Neal and Roy E. Neal, both of St. Louis, Mo., and Jimmie Mack Neal of Mount Vernon, Ill.; five sisters, Margaret Evans, Clementine Wilson and Joy Davis, all of Vicksburg, and Alberta Craft and Betty Felker, both of Chicago, two brothers, Berlin Wilson of Minneapolis and Eddie Wilson of Las Vegas; 23 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and other relatives including Johnny Woods of Chicago, Jemima Fischer of Vicksburg and Robert Delaney.

THERESA RADER

ROLLING FORK Services for Theresa Felicia Tovan Rader will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Charles Boykins officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery. Visitation with Rosary will be from 6 until 7 p.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Rader died Monday, Nov. 6, 2000, at her home in Rolling Fork. She was 74.

She was a homemaker and a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred George Rader; a daughter, Lydia V. James; her father, Don Esiego Martinez; her mother, Mary Monwella Tovan; her maternal grandparents and three grandchildren.

She is survived by three sons, Freddie J. Rader, David M. Rader and Jack Rader, all of Vicksburg; four daughters, Margaret Slaughter, Paula Davenport and Marie A. Rader, all of Vicksburg, and Juanita R. Hollins of Eagle Lake; 39 grandchildren; 79 great-grandchildren; and other relatives including Inez Ledet and Ruby Ledet, both of Jeanerette, La.

FRANCES THOMPSON

Frances Thompson died Saturday Nov. 4, 2000, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 72.

She was a former member of Wesley United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jerry and Mary Elijah Dumas, and an aunt, Annette Taylor.

Survivors include two nieces, Flora Straud of Lake Michigan and Ethel Hardy of Greenville.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Williams Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Goodman officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home.

DONALD TRICHELL SR.

TALLULAH Donald Wayne Trichell Sr. died Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2000, at Madison Parish Hospital. He was 55.

Mr. Trichell was born in Delhi and graduated from Tallulah High School. He was a pipeline construction foreman and a member of St. Edward’s Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary O’Leary Trichell of Tallulah; four sons, Donald W. Trichell Jr., Jason Thomas Trichell and Adam Matthew Trichell, all of Tallulah, and Spencer Dewayne Trichell of Hattiesburg; a daughter, Michelle Trichell Williams of Hattiesburg; his mother, Organtra Trichell of Monroe; three brothers, Grady Trichell of Monroe, Calvin Trichell of Marksville and Johnny Trichell of Vicksburg; two sisters, Cathy Gilstrap and Dottie Battaglia, both of Monroe; and eight grandchildren.

Services were Thursday at St. Edward’s Catholic Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Pat Murphy officiating. Burial was at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Tommy Wixson, Ronnie Deckleman, Jerry Wilson, Ron Williams, H.M. Clark Jr. and Charles Clark Sr. Honorary pallbearer was Charles Grace.

LILLIE MARIE TURNER

MILWAUKEE, Wis. Lillie Marie Turner died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2000, at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee. She was 49.

Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by a brother, Autnor Ray Turner.

She is survived by a son, Artie Turner of Milwaukee; her mother, Hattie Mae Turner of Milwaukee; her father, Willie Lee Turner of Vicksburg; four brothers, Derrick Turner of Eric Turner, both of Vicksburg, Daryll Turner and Willie Earl Turner, both of Milwaukee; three sisters, Antoinette Green and Earnestine Goodson, both of Milwaukee, and Doris Houston of Columbus, Miss.; and other relatives including the Barnes, Carter and Turner families of Port Gibson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ephesians Baptist Church in Milwaukee. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery under the direction of Golden Gate Funeral Home in Milwaukee.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the service Saturday at the church.

J.D. WILLIAMS

J.D. “Jim” Williams died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 2000, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 70.

Mr. Williams was a retired meter reader for the City of Vicksburg with the Water and Gas Department. He was a member of Travelers Rest Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dove Ann Williams and Bryant Williams Sr.; three sisters and a son.

He is survived by a brother, Bryant Williams Jr. of Chicago; three daughters; eight grandchildren and other relatives including Betty Williams of Bellwood, Ill., and his caregiver, Rubye L. Jones of Vicksburg.
