Traffic is waved through on Redbone Road Wednesday as workers from Delta Tree Service cut down a large oak tree and move it to a nearby culvert. The tree-cutting service was hired by the City of Vicksburg to cut down the trees along Redbone in order to widen the road. The expansion will cover about a quarter of a mile of the road with traffic being detoured during the work. Before the morning rain set in, the work had been expected to be completed Friday.
