JOHN WESLEY PERKINS

John Wesley Perkins died Friday, January 5, 2001 at his home in Vicksburg. He was 79.

Mr. Perkins was a retired special agent for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and a member of Veterans of Foriegn Wars and the Moose Lodge.

He is survived by a son, David Perkins of Savannah, Ga.; two daughters, Judith Eileen Williams of Jackson and Barbara Kanewia of Savannah; a brother, Frank Arthur Perkins of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Valrie Bailey of Marietta, Ga., eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home South Chapel in Jackson. Burial will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park South.
