Tori Harris had 15 points and Marcus Fleming had 10 rebounds and nine points for the Braves (6-1, 6-2 SWAC).

Keith Gamble had 20 points and Joey Ball added 15 for the Hornets (9-6, 5-1).

On the women’s side, the Lady Hornets (12-4, 6-0) won, 58-55, on a bizarre ending. After a fight broke out, both teams were assessed technicals. Alabama made both free throws, but the Lady Braves (6-10, 5-3) missed.
