MAXINE HOLT
TALLULAH Maxine “Polly” Holt died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at Olive Branch Senior Care Center in Tallulah. She was 86.
Mrs. Holt was born in Washington County, Ark., and had lived in Tallulah for more than 70 years. She was a retired employee of the Louisiana Power and Light Company and a member of First United Methodist Church in Tallulah.
She is survived by a sister, Bobbe Holt of Tallulah; nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Tallulah with the Rev. Fred Fulton officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 Wednesday night at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church, 300 Cedar St., Tallulah, La. 71282.
DALTON T. JOHNSON
Dalton T. Johnson died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 67.
A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Johnson was the son of the late Jessie J., and Annie Johnson. He was a towboat pilot and retired from Smith Towing Company with more than 40 years of service. He was also a commercial fisherman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Lee Johnson; five brothers and a sister.
Survivors include two daughters, Barbara Ann Johnson and Susan Elaine Johnson, both of Vicksburg; two sons, Kenneth Harrison of Lumberton and Billy Joe Harrison of Vicksburg; a sister, Gracie Hoover of Vicksburg; and 16 grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home with the Rev. Oliver Ladnier officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 until 7 Wednesday night at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Hollowell, J.O. Smith III, Michael Sanderford, Leo Parker, Danny Paul Sanderford and Victor Worrells.
JOYCE ANN JOHNSON
Joyce Ann Johnson died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 39.
Miss Johnson was a native of South Carolina and lived most of her life in Delta, La. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Amanda DeLaughter of Vicksburg; two sons, Kenneth Johnson of Tabor City, N.C., and Robbie Richardson Jr. of Vicksburg; her mother, Joyce Lee Johnson of Green Sea, S.C.; two brothers, Johnny Eugene Johnson of Tallulah and Michael Johnson of Tabor City; a sister, Rebecca Johnson of Tabor City; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Yokena Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the hour of the service at the funeral home.
LIRIS ANN GRACE LATTIMORE
Liris Ann Grace Lattimore, infant daughter of Angelinette Lattimore, died Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center.
In addition to her mother, Liris is survived by a sister, Raivuyne Reeves of Vicksburg; a brother, Matthew Lattimore III of Vicksburg; her maternal grandparents, Samuel and Mary Ann Mitchell of Vicksburg; and other relatives.
Williams Funeral Service has charge of the arrangements.
ROBERT OMAR JAMES LEE
Robert Omar James Lee died Monday, Feb. 5, 2001. He was 47.
Mr. Lee was employed as a maintenance supervisor with Hamtramck Sausage and Cornbeef Co. in Detroit. He attended Vicksburg High School in 1973.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Tommy Lee and Helen Whitaker Lee.
He is survived by two sons, Darren Boyd of Chicago and Omar Cleveland of Detroit; a daughter, Nyree Cleveland of Flint, Mich.; two brothers, Tommy Whitaker of Vicksburg and James Lee of Charlotte, N.C.; four sisters, Agnes Drake of Kenosha, Wis., and Edna Lee-Jackson, Jacqueline Fields and Ethel Brown, all of Vicksburg; two grandchildren and other relatives.

JANICE WOOTEN LOTT
Janice Wooten Lott died Sunday, Feb. 4, 2001, at Vicksburg Medical Center. She was 67.
A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mrs. Lott was a former employee of Wal-Mart. She was a member of New Vision Family Worship Center.
Survivors include a son, Steven C. Earls of Cassville, Mo.; one brother, Clarence Wooten of Vicksburg; a half-brother, Philip E. Jones of Vicksburg; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Rick McAlister officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. Thursday until the service at Glenwood Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Charles Cotton, Alton Miller, Shag Miller, Johnny Johnson, Wade Humphreys and George Dill.
