[03/30/01] Stacie Creel twirled a complete-game shutout, allowing just two hits and striking out 13, as the Lady Arrows beat Warren Central, 9-0.

The Lady Vikes (5-4, 1-3 Division 3-5A) got hits from Marilyn Landers and Katie Barnett, but cmmitted some crucial errors. Clinton had 12 hits.

Lauren Anderson took the loss.

A spot in the playoffs is still alive for the Lady Vikes with crucial division matchups with Madison Central on Tuesday and Vicksburg on Wednesday.

WC beat VHS in their first matchup and lost by just one run against Madison. Clinton has clinched the division title.

WC will play in the Clinton Tournament on Saturday at Traceway Park. The Lady Vikes will play Terry at 8:30 a.m., Florence at 10:15 and Brandon at 1:45 p.m.
