Missy Gators cruise by Forest Hill

[04/06/01] Krystal Lofton had a three-RBI double and scored a pair of runs as Vicksburg (4-10) blasted pitching-depleted Forest Hill, 16-1.

Vicksburg scored 12 runs in the first inning along, took advantage of six Lady Rebels’ errors and had six hits in the blowout. Amber Landers chipped in with an RBI double.

Emily Mathes and seventh-grader Lauren Johnston combined on a four-inning two hitter.

St. Al 14, Richland 0

Laura Beth Lyons allowed just two hits and struck out four in St. Aloysius’ division win Thursday.

The Lady Flashes (9-3, 6-1 Division 7-1A) were walked 17 times in the mercy-rule shortened game. Danielle Klaus, Kelly Haden and Candace Park had an RBI singles.

The Lady Flashes play Richland again Friday at 4:30, followed by a matchup with Warren Central at 5:30. Both games are at WC.
