15 arraigned after grand jury indictments

[05/11/01] Fifteen people are now facing felony charges after being indicted by the grand jury this week. They were arraigned Thursday in Warren County Circuit Court.
Ronnie Bender, 19, 105 Clear Creek Road, possession of precursor chemicals.
Michael Bliss, 37, 226 Ridgeview Acres, DUI third offense.
Randy Chapin, 41, 598 Ring Road, attempted arson.
Tyrone Carter II, 22, 10158 Halls Ferry Road, statutory rape.
Eddie Dee, 19, 2427 Letitia St., sale of a controlled substance.
Robert Earl Johnson Jr., 21, 2202 Pearl St., two counts of sale of a controlled substance and one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Hugh Myles III, 37, 102 Plantation Drive, burglary of a business and grand larceny.
Dean McKay, 37, 1046 Green St., sale of a controlled substance.
James Nowell Jr., 19, 3400 Highway 80 Lot 27, burglary of a business and grand larceny.
David Norris, 19, 6733 Bartay Drive, Fort Worth, Texas, possession of a controlled substance.
Michael Rogers, 18, 1106 Cherry St., burglary of a business, two counts of grand larceny and burglary.
Reginald Rogers, 24, 2405 Railroad Ave., possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
Mary E. Smoots, 41, 1111 Crawford St. No. 20, felony bad check.
Charlene S. Williams, 52, 2615 Letitia St., felony bad check.
Eugenia R. White, 27, 212 Hillside Drive, four counts of felony bad checks.
The grand jury was convened Monday and has been considering cases during the week. Once indictments are returned, those accused appear in court to have the charges formally presented at arraignments.
