Vicksburg Patrolman David McLeod talks with Terrance Flaggs, 24, as Sgt. Robert Jackson fills out a report involving a 1989 Dodge Dakota pickup that rolled into a brick wall Wednesday on Jefferson Street. Lt. David Beard said Randy Flaggs, 19, 303 N. Locust St., had backed the Dodge Dakota out of an apartment complex on Jefferson Street when he realized its brakes had failed. The vehicle continued across the street, missing a utility pole and ran over a wall, ending up between houses at 1114 and 1116 Jefferson St. Terrance Flaggs was a passenger in the truck when the accident occurred. Randy Flaggs received a citation for driving without a license, Beard said. No injuries were reported. (The Vicksburg Post/MELANIE DUNCAN)
