WALTER R. MILLER III

PORT GIBSON Walter R. Miller III died Friday, June 29, 2001, at his home. He was 33.

Mr. Miller was a native of Port Gibson where he worked as an instrumentation technician. He also served in the U.S. Army during Operation Desert Storm.

Survivors include his wife, Charlotte Miller of DeRitter, La.; one son, Coy Miller of Port Gibson, La; two daughters, Courtney and Lindsey Miller, both of DeRitter, La.; his father, Russ Miller of Port Gibson; his mother, Carol Miller of Port Gibson; one sister, Angie Hudson of Port Gibson; his maternal grandmother, Kathryn Meadows of Jackson; and his paternal grandmother, Kate Wroten of Port Gibson.

Services were at 11 a.m Monday at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson. Burial followed at Wintergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers were David Fonds, Frankie Graves, Grady Humphries, Bob Dillon, John L. Torrey, Jea Abraham and Robert Gage.
