Vicksburg (11-10) held a 36-14 lead at the half against a Crystal Springs team that had just six players for the second straight night.

Stacey Lee had 19 and Coresha Moore scored 13 in the loss.

The tournament brought an end to the summer season for both Vicksburg and Warren County, which finished third.

Provine 57, WC 39

Wanda Calvin scored a team-high 10 points and JaQuita Benard scored eight, but the Lady Vikes ran out of gas late in the game.

“We were just exhausted,” said WC coach Donny Fuller, whose team played 11 games in the last 15 days.

“Overall, I was pleased with the summer. We got a lot accomplished and the kids improved. That’s what the summer is all about.”

With the win, Provine finished second in the Invitational, while Crystal Spring was the lone team that did not earn a win.
