MARTHA JEAN BOULTON HARRIS
PORT GIBSON Services for Martha Jean Boulton Harris were at 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Mark M.B. Church in Port Gibson with Pastor Alfred D. Miller Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Thompson Memorial Garden Cemetery.
Mrs. Harris died Sunday, July 1, 2001, at Claiborne County Hospital in Port Gibson. She was 35.
She was a member of the First Seventh-Day Adventist Church of Port Gibson.
Mrs. Harris was preceded in death by her parents, George David Boulton and Gloristine Thomas; and a brother, Luther Kilcrease.
She is survived by three daughters, Ethel Boulton, Latoya Harris and Jacqueline Carter, all of Port Gibson; two brothers, Danny Lee Boulton of Port Gibson and George D. Boulton Jr. of Clarksdale; seven sisters, Rosie Reuben, Annie Washington, Gloria Boulton, Linda Boulton, Nancy Boulton and Bobbie Boulton, all of Port Gibson, and Barbara Boulton of Clarksdale; two grandchildren, Shakelseya Wil-liams and Trevon Boulton, both of Port Gibson; and other relatives.
ASHBY DECKER WALLACE
ST. DAVIDS, Pa. Ashby Decker Wallace died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at his home in St. Davids, Pa. He was 79.
Mr. Wallace was a 1940 graduate of Radnor High School. He attended the University of Virginia. He was employed with Pennsylvania Railroad/Conrail in Philadelphia in the treasury department for 41 years. He also worked in the accounting department of Valley Forge Military Academy for six years and for Genuardi’s Markets.
He was a Army veteran of World War II. He received the Purple Heart during the Battle of the Bulge, the good conduct medal, bronze stars, Victory Medal and American Campaign Medal.
He was a member of St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Wayne, Pa.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Wallace Chapel
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie Millar Wallace; two daughters, Joan Wallace Buglewicz of Vicksburg and Anne W. Whiting of Contoocook, N.H.; his son, Richard Ashby Wallace of New Hope, Pa.; and five grandchildren.
Services were at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Episcopal Church in Wayne under the direction of Stretch Funeral Home of Havertown, Pa.
Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.
