ROBERT MARION KAISER

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. Robert Marion Kaiser died Saturday, Aug. 11, 2001, in Williamsburg. He was 84.

Born in Natchez, Mr. Kaiser was a former resident of Vicksburg. He was a graduate of Natchez High School and Mississippi State University. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha social fraternity. He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in England and France. He founded Natchez Dairy Products in 1947 and retired from Mississippi Valley Portland Cement Company in Vicksburg and from the U.S. Air Force as a lieutenant colonel. He was a member of Jefferson Street United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Bardwell Kaiser of Williamsburg; his son, Dr. John Robert Kaiser of Williamsburg; his daughter, Marian Kaiser Smith of Franklin, Tenn.; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Jefferson Street United Methodist Church in Natchez with the Rev. James Earl Herndon officiating. Burial will follow at Natchez City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Tuesday at Laird Funeral Home in Natchez.

Pallbearers will be Jim Blough, Robert L. Smith, Hank Smith, Edwin Wilkins, Leslie Wilkins and Buster Junkin.

Memorials may be made to Jefferson Street United Methodist Church, 511 Jefferson St., Natchez, MS 39120.

CLYDE F. McPHAIL

TALLULA Clyde F. McPhail died Monday, Aug. 13, 2001, at his home in Tallula. He was 67.

Born in Vicksburg, Mr. McPhail had lived in Tallula for the past 50 years. A retired rancher and farmer, he was a member of Tallula Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Ann Boyd McPhail of Tallula; two sons, Billy Joe McPhail of Delta City and David Ray McPhail of Tallula; three daughters, Anita Carol Radle of Grenada, Frankie Ann Fuller of Mayersville and Debbie Delaney of Grace; his brother, John Burton McPhail of Tallula; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at County Line Cemetery in Glen Allan with the Rev. James Radle officiating under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Buford Ray McPhail, William Boyd, Mitchell Keith Brown, John Burton McPhail, Sully Ray McPhail, Boyce Wayne McPhail, Gregory Ray McPhail and Charles Stan Delaney.
