LELA M. FRESEN

Lela M. Fresen died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 29.

Mrs. Fresen had lived in Vicksburg most of her life. She was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents, Harold and Norma Whittington of Vicksburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Carol and Patrick W. Terrell Sr. of Vicksburg; one niece, Katherine Terrell of Vicksburg; and one nephew, Patrick Terrell Jr. of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Sam Dunaway officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be at the funeral home from 9 a.m. Monday until the service.

Pallbearers will be Steve Woods, Charles Woods, Charles Tate, Nathan Skipworth, Donnie Russell and Robert Gladwell.

MURIEL ALICE WHITE

Muriel Alice White died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, at her home. She was 74.

A native of Ann Arbor, Mich., Mrs. White had lived in California, Texas, Virginia and areas of Michigan. She had been a Vicksburg resident since 1994.

She was of the Methodist faith.

She is survived by her husband, James Alfred White of Vicksburg; one daughter, Linda Susan Harper of Newberry Springs, Calif.; one son, James Alfred White Jr. of Panama City, Fla.; four grandchildren, Ryan James White and Michael Scurto, both of Los Angeles, Diane Muriel Stephens of Camp LeJune, N.C., and Bradley James White of Allentown, Pa.; and three great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at Fisher-Riles Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 4 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.
