MARY KATE MATTHEWS

GLEN ROCK, Pa. Mary Kate Matthews died Saturday, Oct. 27, 2001, at York Hospital in Glen Rock, Pa. She was 65.

Born in Waterproof, La., Mrs. Matthews was a 1953 graduate of Jett High School in Vicksburg. She had lived in Glen Rock since 1999.

She attended St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in New Freedom, Pa.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Haddow; and her parents, Jones E. and Louise Rollison.

Survivors include two sons; a daughter; her brother, Robert Rollison of Glen Rock, Pa.; and two sisters, Barbara Thompson and Peggy Sweeney, both of Vicksburg.

Services were Oct. 30 at J.J. Hartenstein Funeral Home in New Freedom. Burial followed at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery.

WILLIE EARL SANDERS

TALLULAH Willie Earl Sanders died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2001, at Northeast Community Care Center in Rayville, La. He was 64.

Born in Franklin Parish, Mr. Sanders had lived in Tallulah for a number of years. He was a carpenter and a member of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Burchfield and Diane Wood, both of Vicksburg; her son, Willie Earl Sanders Jr. of Vicksburg; three brothers, Malgene S. Sanders of Crystal Springs, Ronald C. Sanders of Dubach, La., and David G. Sanders of Fort Worth, Texas; three sisters, Faye Jefferies of Las Vegas, Nev., Sherry Hileman of Peru, Ind., and LaNell Carlisle of Laramie, Wyo.; and five grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Clark Stewart officiating. Burial will follow at Silver Cross Cemetery.
