ROY PETER MACE

EDWARDS Roy Peter Mace died Saturday, Nov. 3, 2001, at G.V. “Sonny” Montgomery Veterans Hospital. He was 52.

Mr. Mace was preceded in death by his brother, Roscoe Mace Jr.

He is survived by his son, Allen Nicholson of Vicksburg; his parents, Roscoe and Elnora Mace of Stone Mountain, Ga.; two stepdaughters, Felicia Broome and Tracy Purvis, both of Jackson; a brother, Donald Mace Sr. of Edwards; three sisters, Gloria Mace Morrison of Memphis, Betty Mace Godbolt and Regina Mace Crowder, both of Stone Mountain, Ga.; and his grandmother, Pearlie Ann Fields of Jackson.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at New Oak Ridge M.B. Church in Edwards. Burial will follow at Henry Cemetery in Edwards

Visitation will be from 7 until 8 p.m. Wednesday at Westhaven Memorial Funeral Home in Jackson.
