ETHEL ANDERSON

LIBERTY Ethel Anderson died Sunday, Nov. 11, 2001, at her home. She was 40.

A resident of Liberty, Miss Anderson was a member of the Little Antioch Baptist Church.

She is survived by her parents, Sidney Herman Anderson of Centreville and Lillie Mae Taplin of Liberty; three brothers, Sidney Herman Anderson Jr., Michael Anderson and Darrell Anderson, all of Liberty; and eight sisters, Maxine Anderson of Vicksburg, Alice White of New Orleans, Rose Moore of LaPlace, La., Joyce Anderson of St. Rose, La., Kathleen Royal of Liberty, Joann Anderson of Magnolia, Valeria Anderson of Jackson and Lillie Denise Anderson of Greensburg, La.

Williams Funeral Service has charge of the arrangements.

EDDIE JEFF BRADLEY

Services for Eddie Jeff Bradley will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Williams Funeral Service. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Bradley died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 74.

Mr. Bradley was a self-employed carpenter and a 43-year resident of Vicksburg. He was also employed by P.L. Hennessey.

Mr. Bradley was preceded in death by his wife, Julia Wallace; his parents, Alfred Bradley Sr. and Early Selmon Bradley; two sons, Robert Wallace and Kwane Wallace; two sisters, Josie Mae Harris and Alma Smith; and three brothers, Horace Bradley, Edward Lewis Bradley and Alfred Bradley Jr.

Mr. Bradley is survived by two sons, Eddie “Bo” Wallace of Augusta, Ga., and John “Gee” Wallace of Vicksburg; five daughters, Laura Wallace, Tremetra “Mickey” Wallace and Joyce Eve Mobley, all of Vicksburg, Sandra W. Boone of Seaside, Calif., and Christine Johnson of Fayette; four sisters, Lugenia B. Scott of Vicksburg, Easter Earl and Liza Bradley, both of Fayette, and Rosie Lee Williams of Natchez; and 19 grandchildren.

LENA WATSON EDMOND

Lena Watson “Buster” Edmond died Friday, Nov. 9, 2001, at South West Memorial Center in Oklahoma City, Okla. She was 85.

Born in Bovina, Mrs. Edmond was retired from the Best Western Motel in Vicksburg. She was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Julie Watson.

Survivors include two sons, Bennie Edmond and Charlie Watson, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Catherine Jeters of Los Angeles and Diane Smith of Oklahoma City; three stepsons, Fred Clark, Austin Clark and Henry Clark Jr., all of Vicksburg; a stepdaughter, Shirley Clark; two sisters, Mary Johnson of St. Louis, Mo., and Rosie Fields of Chicago; 16 grandchildren; great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home with the Rev. George Ross officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

WILLIAM B. JONES

Services for William B. “Dummy” Jones will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Jones died Thursday, Nov. 8, 2001, at Vicksburg Medical Center. He was 89.

He was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg and was employed at Vicksburg Seed Store for many years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Harriet Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his brother, Spearman Jones of Detroit; four grandchildren, Angelena Jones, Delores Jones and Jeffery Jones, all of Vicksburg, and Mary Ann Jones of Hazlehurst; a godchild, Maxine Davenport of Vicksburg; and other relatives.
