MARY V. LINNAN

Mary V. Linnan died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at Trace Haven Nursing Home. She was 82.

Miss Linnan was a lifelong resident of Vicksburg. She graduated from the University of Dayton with a bachelor of science degree in nursing. She served in the U.S. Army Nurses Corps in England during World War II and the Korean Conflict.

Survivors include her brother, Thomas Linnan of Tennessee; and two sisters, Winnie Baker of California and Dorothy Markham of Missouri.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Fields officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the service Wednesday at the funeral home.

MARVIN E. MYRICK

Marvin E. Myrick died Sunday, Nov. 18, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 58.

Born in Baytown, Texas, Mr. Myrick had lived in Vicksburg for the past three years. He was employed with Rainbow Casino as a mechanical engineer.

He is survived by his wife, Debra S. Myrick of Vicksburg; his son, Kevin Myrick of Houston, Texas; his daughter, Cindy Myrick of Houston; a brother, Dwight Myrick of Brooklyn, Texas; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Glenwood Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Reaves, Derrolld Kirkley, Terry Anderson, Frank Keen, David Jester and Ben Hit.

Honorary pallbearers will be friends and co-workers from Rainbow Casino.
