HENRY GREEN

Services for Henry Green will be at noon Thursday at Rosehill Christian Church in Lorman with the Rev. Walter Chambers officiating. Burial will follow at Rosehill Christian Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Williams Funeral Service in Port Gibson.

Mr. Green died Thursday, Nov. 22, 2001, at his home in Vicksburg. He was 63.

He was a member of Rose Hill Christian Church in Lorman and formerly employed as a grain elevator operator with Spiegel of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Annie Lee Green.

He is survived by Katie Nailor of Vicksburg; five brothers, Paul Green Jr., Arthur Green and Matthew Green, all of Port Gibson, and Frank Green and Lawrence Green, both of Chicago; six sisters, Dorothy Johnson and Pauline Major, both of Vicksburg, Juline Green and Barbara Buck, both of Port Gibson, Deloris Wells of Lorman and Angela Hampton of Orlando, Fla.; and nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

CATHERINE SANDERS KENNEDY

Services for Catherine Sanders Kennedy will be at 11 a.m. Friday at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Kennedy died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2001, at her home. She was 82.

A homemaker, she was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas, and her mother Mary Ella Queen Sanders.

Survivors include her husband, Solomon Kennedy of Vicksburg; and her daughter, Willie Mae Coleman of St. Paul, Minn.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements.

MELLO WILSON McCOY

Services for Mello Wilson McCoy will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Travelers Rest M.B. Church with the Rev. Thomas Bernard officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 6 until 8 tonight at W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home and from noon until the service Thursday at the church.

Mrs. McCoy died Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2001, at her home. She was 78.

She was a retired cook with Mr. C’s restaurant. She was a member of Traveler’s Rest M.B. Church where she was a member of the usher board and mission ministry. She was a member of St. Mary’s Chapter No. 1 O.E.S.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William McCoy Sr.; a son, Jerry McCoy; her parents, Buddy and Katie Jones Wilson; two brothers, Wilbert Jones and Leon Jones; and five sisters.

Survivors include four sons, William McCoy Jr. and the Rev. Terry McCoy, both of Dallas, Texas, and Michael T. McCoy Sr. and Mark A. McCoy, both of Vicksburg; two daughters, Donna K. Burnham of Dallas and Debora D. Coleman of Vicksburg; grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and other relatives.

FRANCES BOULT SUDDUTH

Frances Boult Sudduth died Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2001, at Central Mississippi Medical Center. She was 85.

A native and lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mrs. Sudduth was employed as manager of Versil’s Gift Shop and was a partner in The Collection in downtown Vicksburg.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Watson A. Sudduth.

She is survived by two daughters, Andrea S. Newman of Vicksburg and Susan Mitchell of Tupelo; four grandchildren, Dru Newman Holidness and Ryan Newman, both of Vicksburg, Liza Mitchell Frug of Oxford and Katie Mitchell Tucker of Atlanta; and three great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives, including Butch Newman of Vicksburg and Guy Mitchell of Tupelo.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Fisher-Riles Funeral home with the Rev. Geoffery Joyner, pastor of Crawford Street United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Howard Benson, Jim Taylor, Scott Benson, David Porter, Todd Horn and Albert Dornbusch.

Honorary pallbearers will be Robert Wilkerson, Gene Allen, Dr. Daniel Edney, Billy McGehee, Dr. Dewey Purser and Sidney Tucker.
