CAROLYN SUE ALLEN BURDITT
Carolyn Sue Allen Burditt died Saturday, Dec. 1, 2001, at Vicksburg Medical Center. She was 49.
Mrs. Burditt was preceded in death by her mother, Reaner Woods.
She is survived by her husband, James Burditt; her great-aunt, Jennie Beaube; two nieces, Sherrie Galbreath and Jessica Barnes; a great-niece, Karah Klemme; and friends, including Rebecca McMahon, Doris Branning, Raymond Elledge, Cathy Hicks and Raymond McMillan.
TILLIE WALKER
LOS ANGELES Tillie Walker died Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, in Los Angeles. She was 76.
Mrs. Walker was a native of Vicksburg.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Oliver Walker and Samuel Walker; her father, Johnny Spencer; her mother, Lottie Spencer; a brother, Joseph Tucker Sr.; and a sister, Elizabeth Tucker.
Survivors include a daughter, Patricia Perique of New Orleans; a son, Gregory Walker of Los Angeles; a sister, Johnnie Mae Palmer of Vicksburg; and grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other relatives.
Hobbes, Williams and Cooper Mortuary in Los Angeles has charge of the arrangements.
HELEN BEASLEY WEEKLY
MERIDIAN Helen Beasley Weekly died Monday, Dec. 10, 2001, at Jeff Anderson Regional Medical Center in Meridian. She was 84.
A Meridian resident, Mrs. Weekly was retired from General Box. She was a member of Central Baptist Church and the Kings Daughters & Sons Ernest Workers Circle.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry L. Weekly; a daughter, Rixie Weekly; and a son, Jimmy Weekly.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Gail Weekly of Vicksburg; one sister, Bea Langford of Ruston, La.; three grandchildren, Shann Martin, Stacy Thurman and Chad Weekly, all of Vicksburg; one great-grandson; and other relatives, including Tommie Jean Beasley of Alvin, Texas, and Bill Beasley of Meridian.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barham Funeral Home in Meridian with the Rev. Danny Chisholm officiating. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Wednesday until the service.
Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church in Meridian or the American Cancer Society.
