CAROLYN ALDRIDGE

PORT GIBSON Carolyn Aldridge died Friday, Dec. 14, 2001, at Grenada County Hospital. She was 63.

Born and reared in Port Gibson, Miss Aldridge was a graduate of Port Gibson High School and the University of Southern Mississippi. She retired from the State Department of Education after working in the transportation department for 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Aldridge; her father, Alvin Aldridge and her stepmother, Annie Aldridge.

She is survived by a sister, Bobbie Ann Cahill of Beaufort, S.C.; and other relatives including Amanda Dawson of Jackson.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Wintergreen Cemetery in Port Gibson with the Rev. Michael Herrin officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home of Port Gibson.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the service Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ricky Dawson, Walter Cade Jr., Earl Moore, Robert Breazeale, James Brooks and Hal Cahill.

Honorary pallbearer will be Bill Moore.

CYNTHIA RENEE GREEN

Services for Cynthia Renee Green will be at 11 a.m. today at Traveler’s Rest M.B. Church with the Rev. Thomas Bernard officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Williams Funeral Service.

Miss Green died Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2001. She was 24.

She was an employee of Dillard’s and a member of Greater Mount Zion M.B. Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Toni B. Green; her grandfathers, Eugene Gibbs Sr. and Joseph Smith; and two uncles, Michael Rodney and Earl Thomas Green.

Survivors include her son, Derrell Green Jr. of Vicksburg; her daughter, Ashleigh Nicole Vivian Green of Vicksburg; her parents, Vivian Butler and Curtis Patterson, both of Vicksburg; three sisters, Valorie Green of Vicksburg, Judy Thomas of San Diego, Calif., and Mary Miles of Korea.

LOUISE GRAHAM JACOBS

TALLULAH Louise Graham Jacobs died Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2001, at Vicksburg Medical Center. She was 82.

Born in Crowville, La., Mrs. Jacobs had lived in Tallulah for 65 years. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Adam Jacobs of Tallulah; four daughters, Betty Jane Snyder of Vincennes, Ind., Frances Ezell of Tallulah, Dinky Stanfield of Sondheimer, La., and Virginia Marie Rachal of Baton Rouge; for brothers, Johnny Graham and Melvin Graham, both of Monroe, Cecil Graham of Calhoun, La., and Leo Graham of Las Vegas; four sisters, Mary Lee Wood of Tallulah, Ida Woods and Alma Ates, both of Monroe, and Joyce Hicks of West Monroe; six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and other relatives.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. John Rushing officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Tallulah.

Pallbearers will be Chad Ezell, Wayne Stutts, Michael Williamson, Johnny Pillars, Don Stanfield and Bubba Jones.

ANDREW L. WASHINGTON

Andrew L. Washington died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 63.

Mr. Washington was a former employee of the Corp of Engineers at the Mat Casting Field.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and Joe Washington and two brothers, Joe Washington Jr. and Robert Felton.

He is survived by his son, Anthony Terry of Vicksburg; his daughter, Carolyn Washington; his sister, Eliza W. Grisson of Vicksburg and other relatives.

Williams Funeral Service has charge of the arrangements.
