Ruby Lucille Kelly died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at Sharkey-Issaquena Hospital. She was 82.

A bookkeeper, Miss Kelly was a native of Arkansas.

She is survived by nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Fairview Cemetery in Shaw. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home in Rolling Fork.

McKINLEY MOORE JR.

McKinley “Cowboy” Moore Jr. died Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2001, at his home in Redwood. He was 56.

A mechanic, Mr. Moore was a member of Evergreen M.B. Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, McKinley Moore Sr. and Effie Mae Moore, and a brother, Leon Moore.

Survivors include his wife, Ruby Miller Moore of Redwood; four sons, McKinley Moore III and Corey Moore, both of Jackson, Rodney Moore of Stone Mountain, Ga., and Terrence Moore of Lithonia, Ga.; one daughter, Audrey Moore Sylvester of Vicksburg; two brothers, John Walker Moore and Eddie Moore, both of Detroit; four sisters, Dorothy Gaskin and Della Thompson, both of Detroit, and Doretha Williams and Deloris Williams, both of Milwaukee, Wis.; nieces; nephews; and 10 grandchildren.

W.H. Jefferson Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

SHIRLEY DENISE WAVRIN

Shirley Denise Wavrin died Monday, Dec. 24, 2001, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 47.

A native of Moberly, Mo., Mrs. Wavrin had lived in Vicksburg since 1980. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Ulmer Leese.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Wavrin of Vicksburg; two sons, James Wavrin of Vicksburg and Damon Wavrin of Eureka, Calif.; her father, James R. Leese of Vicksburg; her brother, John R. Leese of Vicksburg; two sisters, Dorothy Rushing of Vicksburg and Ann Lewis of Birmingham, Ala.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Sibley officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Rushing, Josh Rushing, David Lewis, Mitchell Welch, Chris Ainsworth and Sheriff Martin Pace.
