AMBER MONIQUE EVANS

Amber Monique Evans, the infant daughter of Wesley Brown and Sherry Promise, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at ParkView Regional Medical Center.

In addition to her parents, Amber is survived by a brother, Wesley Hubley of Vicksburg; paternal grandmother, Barbara Ann Evans of Vicksburg; maternal grandparents, Cynthia Promise and Lucius Jackson Jr., both of Vicksburg; and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

ALICE BAROUDY ROBERTS

Alice Baroudy Roberts died Friday, Jan. 4, 2002, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. She was 81.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Port Tripoli, Lebanon, and moved to the United States as an infant with her parents. She was a retired bookkeeper with Marie’s Dress Shop.

She was a member of St. George Orthodox Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, the Very Rev. and Mrs. Michael Baroudy; her husband, James Roberts, and a sister, Elaine Baroudy Dunn.

She is survived by four sisters, Katie Baroudy, Tillie Baroudy Underwood and Marie Baroudy Dooling, all of Vicksburg, and Jeanette Baroudy Brasfield of Brandon; a brother, Mike Baroudy of Vicksburg; two nieces, Marcia Below of Cullman, Ala., and Regina Baroudy of Pineville, La.; three nephews, Bob Brasfield of Vicksburg and John Brasfield and David Brasfield, both of Birmingham, Ala.; six great-nieces and -nephews; and other friends and relatives.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at St. George Orthodox Church with the Rev. Peter Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Monday until the hour of the service at St. George Orthodox Church with Trisagion Prayers before the service.

Pallbearers will be Freddy Abraham, George Habeeb Sr., Bob Brasfield, Jamie Jabour, John Brasfield, Wayne Thornton, David Brasfield and George Tzotzolas.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. George E. Abraham II, George E. Abraham, Sr., Charles Abraham, Joe Durst, Ellis Farris, Ellis Koury, Johnny Louis, Dr. Tom Louis, Fred Najour, Lee Thomas, M. John Nosser Jr., Robert E. Abraham, George Nasif Sr., and Elias Rantisi.
