ROBERT ROBERTSON SR.

Robert “Pap” Robertson Sr. died Thursday, Jan. 24, 2002, at ParkView Regional Medical Center. He was 63.

Mr. Robertson retired as a custodian at Dana Road Elementary. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Navy having served during the Korean Conflict. He was a licensed carpenter and plumber.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alonzo “Booze” Smith.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Robertson Jr. and Vincent Robertson, both of Vicksburg; a daughter, Carolyn Robertson Wells of Vicksburg; his mother, Josephine Mallett of Vicksburg; three brothers, Herman McNeal and Lee McNeal, both of South Bend, Ind., and John H. Pinkard of Vicksburg; his stepbrother, Alonzo Austin of Vicksburg; and his stepsister, Mary Smith of Vicksburg.
