PEGGY FAYE NORMAN RUSHING

PRICEDALE Peggy Faye Norman Rushing died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2002, at her home in the Carter’s Creek community in Pricedale. She was 70.

Mrs. Rushing was preceded in death by a son, Michael Marvin Rushing; and her parents, Emmit Norman and Ruth Boyd Norman.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Elisha Henry “Sonny” Rushing Jr. of Carter’s Creek; two sons, Rome Derek Rushing of Vicksburg and Richard Elisha Rushing of Pensacola, Fla.; her daughter, Tracy R. Jones of Alexandria, La.; her brother, Emmit “Butch” Norman of Vicksburg; two sisters, Barbara Sharp of Mesa, Ariz., and Linda Van Norman of Gonzales, La.; and five grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. today at Bogue Chitto Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Sisco officiating under the direction of Hartman Funeral Home.
