JOYCE D. SHIRLEY KELLEY

Joyce D. Shirley Kelley died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 42.

Mrs. Kelley was a native of Edwards, where she was a member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church. She was employed at Cal-Maine Foods.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Kelley III; her mother, Leaner Mae Shirley; a brother, Louis Hunter; and a daughter, Clarinette Shirley.

She is survived by four sons, Anthony Shirley, Fred Shirley, Marcus Kelley and Archie Kelley IV, all of Edwards; three daughters, Clarice Shirley and Lakeisha Kelley, both of Edwards, and Yolonda Shirley of Raymond; her father and stepmother, Willie Joe Hunt and Rose Hunt; eight brothers, Robert Hunt, Timothy Hunt, James Michael Mann and Robert Jones, all of Vicksburg, Michael Anthony Hunt of Oklahoma City, Michael Antonio Hunt of Chicago, Tommy Johnson of South Carolina and Leroy Allen of Minneapolis, Minn.; 13 sisters, Jessie Mosley and Shirley Forrest, both of Edwards, Marsha Jenkins, Elnora Jackson, Josie Dorsey, Shavonne Hunt, Alberta Hunt Chambers, Katherine Brown, Kimberly Mason and Andrea Mason, all of Vicksburg, Diane Lacey of Port Gibson, Elva Nell Minor of Maywood, Ill., and Mary Helen Shirley, also of Illinois; nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends, including Jessie Green, Archie Kelley Sr. and Al Joseph Moriley of Edwards.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mount Moriah M.B. Church in Edwards. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from noon until 6 p.m. today at Lakeover Funeral Home of Jackson.

CHARLES TILLMAN

Charles Tillman died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, at University Medical Center in Jackson. He was 47.

Mr. Tillman worked in maintenance for River Oaks Apartments. He was of the Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Tillman.

He is survived by his wife, Jannie Tillman of Vicksburg; a son, Shannon Tillman of Vicksburg; two daughters, Shelwin Tillman and Benita Tillman, both of Vicksburg; his mother and stepfather, Ruth Younger Nixon and Robert Nixon of Vicksburg; his paternal grandmother, Limmie Tillman of Jackson; four sisters, Barbara Horne and Janene Tillman, both of Jackson, and Cora Galtney and Mary R. Galtney, both of Vicksburg; friends and other relatives, including Ora Green of Los Angeles and Kenneth E. Galtney of Vicksburg.

Williams Funeral Service has charge of arrangements.

LIZZIE YARBROUGH

PATTISON Lizzie Yarbrough died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2002, in Cleveland, Ohio. She was 98.

Mrs. Yarbrough was a member of St. Paul M.B. Church in Pattison.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Yarbrough; a son, Louis Yarbrough; and a grandson, Robert Yarbrough.

She is survived by four sons, Sidney Yarbrough, James Yarbrough and George Yarbrough, all of Cleveland, and Roosevelt Yarbrough of Pattison; three daughters, Willie B. Smith of Cleveland, Dora Younger of Vicksburg and Josephine Yarbrough of Brunswick, Ga.; a brother, Joe Moore of Westwago, La.; nieces; nephews; and 24 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Mercy Seat M.B. Church with the Rev. James Smith Jr. officiating, assisted by the Rev. Frank McGriggs. Burial will follow at Pattison Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 until 6 p.m. Sunday at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Port Gibson and from 9 a.m. Monday until the service at the church.
