MARGARET WILLIAMS BANKS

Margaret Williams Banks died Wednesday, March 13, 2002, in Albuquerque, N.M. She was 51.

Mrs. Banks was preceded in death by her parents, Robert England and Bobbie Lee Williams; her stepfather, Henry Lyons Jr.; two sisters, Angela Marie Williams and Alice Williams; and her brother, John Henry Williams.

She is survived by three daughters, Dena Griffin of Aurora, Colo., Shelia Knox of Greenville and Debra Banks of Shannon; her son, Willie Banks of Albuquerque; six brothers, Larry Williams, Billy Williams, Robert Williams, Herbert Williams, Michael Williams and Cornelius England, all of Vicksburg; three sisters, Mary Ann Buck, Frances Williams and Lyndia Early, all of Vicksburg; nine grandchildren; and other relatives, including Annie Pettis, Ernestine Thomas and the Williams, Hatchett, Freeman, Dee and Carson families, all of Vicksburg.

Services were Monday in Albuquerque under the direction of Skinner Mortuary. Burial was at Wintergreen Cemetery in Albuquerque.

BILL CAMPBELL-HARRIS

PHOENIX Bill Campbell-Harris died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2002, in Scottsdale, Ariz. He was 40.

Mr. Campbell-Harris was born in Vicksburg to the late Virgil Harris and Isaac Bingham. He was reared by his maternal grandmother, Lula Harris, in Yazoo City.

He was a 1979 honors graduate of Vicksburg High School and attended the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg and Morehouse College in Atlanta.

He was employed by Charles Schwab Inc. as a project manager.

Mr. Campbell-Harris was a member and featured soloist of Asbury United Methodist in Phoenix. He performed at many weddings and at churches throughout the country.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Janice Harris.

He is survived by his spouse, Kenneth Campbell-Harris of Phoenix; three sons, Dominic Campbell-Harris and Kevin Campbell-Harris, both of Phoenix, and Demetrius Hall of Chicago; three sisters, Carolyn Polk of Decatur, Ga., and Peggy Henry and Gail Henry, both of Detroit; and nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives, including Lola Campbell of Seneca, S.C.
