TOMMY ALLEN SR.

Tommy Allen Sr. died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. He was 75.

A lifelong resident of Vicksburg, Mr. Allen was former owner and operator of Allen Electrical Co. He was a veteran of the Navy, serving in World War II.

He was a member of the VFW and Eagle Lake United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth C. Allen of Vicksburg; a son, Tommy Allen Jr. of Vicksburg; a daughter, Donna Stephenson of Littleton, Colo.; one brother, Elmo S. Allen Jr. of Jackson; and four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home with the Revs. Lauren Porter and Ben Yoo officiating. Burial will follow at Green Acres Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Henry Wells, T.J. Conrad, Drew Beard, Martin Pace, Bradley Stephenson and Arnold Bandur.

Honorary pallbearers will be Earl and Diane Wallace, James and Charlotte Luke, Tom and Dot McClinic, Fred and Dorothy Wells, Richard and Pearl Carter, Chris and Polly Antoine, Bill and Joann Parker, Walter and Becky Shotwell, Dr. Lee Giffin and Dr. Clark Williams.

Memorials may be made to Eagle Lake United Methodist Church or to the American Cancer Society.

JERRINE MICHELLE CHAMBLISS

Services for Jerrine Michelle Chambliss will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Mount Elem Baptist Church with the Rev. Leonard Walker officiating. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 until 7 tonight at Williams Funeral Service.

Miss Chambliss died Sunday, March 24, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 32.

Miss Chambliss was employed with Red Lobster in Crestwood, Ala., for four years. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Cleveland Henry Palmer; and her paternal great-grandfather, David Chambliss.

She is survived by her son, Kevin Paul Chambliss of Vicksburg; her father, Michael David Chambliss of Ithaca, N.Y.; her mother, Lamar Chambliss of Vicksburg; three brothers, Michael Anthony Chambliss and Adrian Lemond Chambliss, both of St. Louis, Mo., and Jonathan Alexander Johnson of Vicksburg; two sisters, Jennifer Elaine Chambliss of St. Louis and Micheala Chambliss of Ithaca; her paternal grandmother, Doressia Chambliss of Jackson and maternal grandmother, Johnnie Mae Palmer of Vicksburg; her paternal great-grandmother, Katie Chambliss of Vicksburg; and other relatives, including Lottie Burns and Delores Nichols of Vicksburg, Paula Taylor of Huntsville, Ala., and the Palmer and Chambliss families of Vicksburg.

JUDY REYNOLDS FRENCH

CARY Judy Reynolds French died Wednesday, March 27, 2002, at her home in Cary. She was 55.

A bookkeeper, Mrs. French was a native of Cary.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Lee French of Cary; two daughters, Angela Whalen of Olive Branch and Jennifer Nichols of Greenville; a brother, Owen Reynolds of Clarksville; two sisters, Gail Monk of Brandon and Evelyn Cogan of Vicksburg; and four grandchildren.

Services will be at noon Saturday at First Baptist Church of Rolling Fork with the Revs. Reese Kyzar and Johnny Sanders officiating. Burial will follow at Mound Cemetery in Rolling Fork.

Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at Glenwood Funeral Home in Rolling Fork.

Pallbearers will be Dusty French, Buster Tucker, Charles Ray Tilgham, Hugh French, Ray Watson and Roger Dale.

ANNIE MAE ST. JOHN

PORT GIBSON Annie Mae St. John died Thursday, March 28, 2002, at Claiborne County Nursing Center. She was 97.

A lifelong resident of Port Gibson, Mrs. St. John was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Port Gibson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Clifton St. John; a daughter, Ruth S. Moon; and a granddaughter, Melissa S. Prouty.

Survivors include a son, Robert St. John of Port Gibson; two daughters, Martha Vaughan and Blanche Billingslea, both of Port Gibson; and 10 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Glenwood Funeral Home in Port Gibson. Burial will follow at Wintergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until the service.

Pallbearers will be grandsons Alan Moon, Melvin Moon Jr., David Moon, Keith Moon, Cliff St. John and Lee Vaughan.

Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Port Gibson, Port Gibson United Methodist Church or to a favorite charity.
