CHICAGO Jessie Mae Neal died Monday, May 20, 2002, in Chicago. She was 49.

Mrs. Neal was a 1971 graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmie Neal; and a sister, Dorothy Neal White.

She is survived by two daughters, Jessica Williams and Sheena Williams, both of Chicago; her mother, Georgia Mae Neal of Vicksburg; four brothers, Jimmie Neal Jr., Phillip R. Neal and Dwayne Neal, all of Memphis, E.T. Neal of Champaign, Ill.; five sisters, Shirley Neal Mollette of Westchester, Ill., Avion Neal Lee of Zion, Ill., and Victoria Neal Thomas, Zel Marie Neal and Gloria Neal Ivy, all of Vicksburg; her granddaughter, MaTaylor Williams of Chicago; and other relatives, including A.C. Williams.

A.A. Rayner and Sons Funeral Home of Chicago has charge of the arrangements.

LOIS C. ROWLAND

Lois C. Rowland died Sunday, May 19, 2002, at her home in Vicksburg. She was 79.

Mrs. Rowland was a native of Warren, Ark., and had lived in Vicksburg since 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas M. Rowland.

She is survived by her son, Thomas Preston McBride of Mena, Ark.; two sisters, Mary Groves of Warren and Elizabeth Taylor of Star City, Ark.; two grandchildren; and other relatives, including Lelia Hanks of Vicksburg.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Green Acres Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Brian Ivey officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Glenwood Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from noon Thursday until the service at the funeral home.

MARY LOU WALKER

Services for Mary Lou Walker will be at 12:30 p.m. Friday at Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Walker died Saturday, May 18, 2002, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. She was 48.

She was a graduate of Rosa A. Temple High School and Mississippi Valley State University. She taught in the Tupelo Public Schools for years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lovell and Annie Lee Johnson, and a brother, Hazzy Cross.

Survivors include a son, Emmanuel Payton Walker of Tupelo; a daughter, Kimberlin Nicole Walker Hyde of Tupelo; one brother, Osies Cross of Vicksburg; two sisters, Annie Marie Murphy and Shirley Thomas, both of Vicksburg; and other relatives.

Dillon-Chisley Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.

HATTIE MAE WILSON

Hattie Mae Wilson died Tuesday, May 21, 2002, at River Region Medical Center. She was 45.

A homemaker, Mrs. Wilson was a member of Vicksburg Family Life Cathedral Church.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Gladys B. Richards.

Survivors include her husband, Billy R. Wilson Sr. of Utica; three daughters, Cheryl D. Wilson and Terri L. Wilson, both of Utica, and Cassandra W. Blunt of Jackson; a son, Billy R. Wilson Jr. of Utica; her parents, Little D. and Mary Petties of Vicksburg; three sisters, Cleo Thomas and Loriene Lyons, both of Vicksburg, and Priscilla Smith of Natchez; two brothers, Otis Petties and Little D. Petties Jr., both of Vicksburg; four grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.
