JOSEPHINE MAE CLINGEN

OAK GROVE, La. Josephine Mae Clingen died Monday, June 3, 2002, at Ashley County Medical Center in Crossett, Ark. She was 68.

Born in Bunker, Mo., Mrs. Clingen was a resident of Oak Grove.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Alma Gean Russell; her father, Benjamin Lee; and her mother, Mae Lee.

She is survived by her husband, Lemmie A. Clingen of Oak Grove; five daughters, Thelma Griffin, Ann Bonner and Melissa Dowden, all of Oak Grove, Josephine Garner of Texarkana, Ark., and Vickey Hawkins of Mount Vernon, Ill.; five sons, William Clingen, Tommy Miles, Winford Miles and Michael Clingen, all of Oak Grove, and Manuel Clingen of Crossett, Ark.; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Cox Funeral Home in Oak Grove with the Rev. Kenny Herring officiating. Burial will follow at Kilbourne Cemetery in Kilbourne, La.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Jones, Eric Lopez, Author Clingen Jr., Justin Clingen, Jonathon Garner, Richard McCorkle, Huey Little and Ricky Riley.
